Lexington Learning Center, Inc. is a privately owned and operated educational center committed to advancing educational skills for students. Our goal is to provide individualized instruction and support tailored to meet the academic needs of our students. Lexington's approach to Elevating Academic Skills includes strategies for improving self esteem while advancing key academic skills.
We believe that all students can master skills, gain academic success and build self esteem when motivated and encouraged by friendly, supportive professional educators.
The professional staff of licensed, certified teachers works with the students, parents, and the student's school to provide ongoing communication which contributes to building confidence, skills, and growth in each Lexington Learning Center student.
Tutor Bios
Carol Liff has over 25 years experience as an educator in the Boston area. She has served as a
public and private school principal. She has taught grades K, 1, 3, 4, 7, & 8 and has been a
guidance counselor for middle school aged students. Carol does professional training for the Massachusetts Teachers Association throughout the
state. She also has been a part time education faculty member at Boston University,
Simmons College, Lesley University, Northeastern University and other area colleges where
she taught education curriculum courses and supervised in the graduate and undergraduate
teacher preparation programs.
Carol is certified as an elementary principal, teacher, school psychologist, guidance counselor, and guidance director. She holds a master's degree in guidance from Boston University and a Certificate of Advanced Standing in Administration from Harvard University Graduate School of Education.
